Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who served as Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 through 2019. She is a senior associate at the Hudson Institute. It is an think tank for conservatives.
Before her position at the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. Nauert was also acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy in the Trump government from March 2018 until October 2018. Nauert was also appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by President Trump.
